Question: what was the most interesting material you've worked with and what was it's reaction?

I’ve worked with a lot of different materials some more interesting that others! Porphyrin was an interesting one cause it forms different shapes when it is mixed with different solutions. So for example, when you mixed it with acid it clumps together to form squares. And when you mix it with other solutions, it forms different shapes, like nanorods or spheres. It is interesting to see what shapes forms or what solutions have no reactions!
